A different scene was seen in Soemarto Hall Faculty of Public Health Universitas Airlangga. Because on Friday, October 14th, 2022 some time ago, BLM Faculty of Public Health Universitas Airlangga held an event called SAWID “Sarasehan With Dekanat”. SAWID is one of the routine agendas held by BLM Universitas Airlangga which aims to capture the aspirations of Faculty of Public Health Universitas Airlangga students regarding certain things which then will be discussed or presented through an open deliberation forum. SAWID aspirations have been collected through an online survey with Google Forms. This is the second SAWID, whereas the first SAWID has been implemented virtually in April. Although SAWID 2 has not been held fully offline, and only held in a hybrid virtual Zoom meeting, it still does not reduce the enthusiasm of Faculty of Public Health Universitas Airlangga students to deliver their aspirations.
Vice Dean I Faculty of Public Health Universitas Airlangga, Prof. Nyoman Anita Damayanti, drg., M.Kes also attended this event, she expressed her appreciation for the implementation of SAWID 2, “I appreciate the committee of BLM FKM who initiated SAWID. However, I hope that all FKM students can deliver their aspirations not only in SAWID.” She said when giving a speech at SAWID. Along with Vice Deans 1 and 2, the Head of Public Health and Nutrition Programs, Head of Sub-Divisions, Heads of departments, and lecturers were also attended SAWID 2. SAWID 2 runs smoothly until the end. Hopefully, all aspirations that have been submitted by students can be implemented.
