Public health science is a combination of theory and practice that aims to prevent disease, extend life span, and improve the level of public health so that it requires students to implement the knowledge they have previously acquired. At the institutional level, the Faculty of Public Health, Airlangga University, ISMKMI (Public Health Student Senate Association) through the Student Resource Development Division APHSA BEM FKM UNAIR 2023 participated in training young health workers to become competent people to support improving the health status of the Indonesian people in Basic Training activities of Public Health 2023.
BToPH 2023 consists of four event stages, namely Welcome Party, Grand Opening, Pre-BToPH, and BToPH. This activity is a series of ongoing and gradual cadre formation. The first activity was the Welcome Party, the opening activity of a series of BToPH events. This activity will be held online on Friday, September 1, 2023. This activity aims to find out the cadre formation mechanism. Also, it seeks to create a sense of togetherness between new students.
The next activity was the Grand Opening, which was the inauguration of a series of BToPH events that opened with remarks from the Chief Executive of BToPH 2023, Chair of APHSA BEM FKM UNAIR 2023, Chair of BEM FKM UNAIR 2023, and Coordinator of the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program. After the welcoming activity, it was continued with a symbolic inauguration by the Coordinator of the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program.
