In order to celebrate the anniversary of ISMKMI (Indonesian Public Health Student Senate Association), BULIS 2022 held socialization and education related to DHF Prevention and Improvement of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) which was held on October 21-22 at Pendowo Limo village hall. The education was delivered by FKM UNAIR Environmental Health Lecturer, Khuliyah Candraning Diyanah S.KM., M.KL, who took the same topic as the theme of BULIS 2022 activities, namely “Level Up Immunity to Build a Healthy Society and Prevent Dengue”. Education is received by the community with enthusiasm so that it can provide additional knowledge to the community.
In addition, there are Toga Planting activities that have the aim of protecting the environment from dengue mosquitoes such as Edelweiss plants and several other toga plants that can be processed to increase body immunity. This Toga planting was symbolically led by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate of Public Health Study Program, namely Dr. Muji Sulistyowati S.KM., M.Kes. and Dr. Soenarnatalina M., Ir., M.Kes. who was also present in the Toga planting activity along with village cadres and also all teachers and students from SDN Pendowolimo. After the toga planting was completed, Mrs. Dr. Muji Sulistyowati S.KM., M.Kes. and Mrs. Dr. Soenarnatalina M., Ir., M.Kes also participated in the implementation of Mosquito Flick Checks conducted in Siman, Pendowolimo Village. It attracted the enthusiasm of the residents to participate in the mosquito larvae examination with the lecturers from FKM UNAIR, the Village Health Cadres, and also the BULIS 2022 Committee.
